Strawl is een energieke en charismatische roots reggaez anger, songwriter en componist. Geboren als Curtis Arnaud en opgegroeid in het getto van het Caribische eiland St. Eustatius. Zijn eerste hit werd opgenomen in Statia met de Rebels Band genaamd Do not Give It Up en bereikte nummer 3 in de Caribbean Top charts. In de tussentijd werkte hij ook samen met BlackstarLiner Band als zanger en bassist en opende hij concerten voor Black Uhuru, Maxi Priest en Lucky Dube. Van daaruit verhuisde hij naar Nederland waar hij werkte met artiesten zoals Junior Kelly, Norrisman en Kabaka Pyramid. Hij sloot aan bij Ziggi Recardo tijdens de Green Tour met de Cousins Band. Zijn belangrijkste boodschap is het verdedigen van mensenrechten en gerechtigheid, ghetto youths livety and peace and love for the world..
Bushweed Music vroeg ons om een cover te maken voor Strawl's cd "Rasta Warrior". We wilden het ontwerp het echte Jamaicaanse gevoel geven, dus gingen we terug naar de natuur. De geverfde houtstructuur geeft het geheel een ruige look, precies waar de rasta warrior voor staat.

Strawl is an energetic and charismatic roots reggae singer, songwriter and composer. Born as Curtis Arnaud and grown up in the ghetto of the Caribbean Island St. Eustatius. His first hit was recorded in Statia with the Rebels Band called Don’t Give It Up and reached number 3 in the the Caribbean Top charts. In the mean time he was also working with BlackstarLiner Band as a singer and bass player, opening concerts for Black Uhuru, Maxi priest and lucky Dube. From there he moved to Holland where he was working with with artist like Junior Kelly, Norrisman and Kabaka Pyramid. He joined Ziggi Recardo on the Green Tour with the Cousins Band. His main message is to defend human rights and justice, ghetto youths livety and peace and love for the world..Bushweed Music asked us to create a cover for Strawl’s cd “Rasta Warrior”. With the design we wanted to give it a reel Jamaican feel so we went back to nature. The painted wood structure gives it a reel rugged look, exactly what the rasta warrior is all about.
